The award is in memory of Mark Traxler, son of James and Carol Traxler of Kailua-Kona. Ching graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy and was accepted at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. Ching is the son of Randy and Lori Ching of Waimea.
